Baptisms of Infants and Young Children

To schedule a baptism contact the Parish Office. Instruction is required for new parents before the baptism of a child.  Sponsors are welcome to participate.  Mary Kate Berglund is the staff member responsible for Baptism preparation involving infants and young children.

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist Preparation and Celebration

First Reconciliation Preparation ~ All Saints School for First reconciliation parent Meetings on Sundays, Oct 30 and Nov. 20 from 9:30 - 10:45.

First Reconciliation Celebration ~ Saturday, December 10 at 10:30 in Commons

First Eucharist Preparation ~ Main Parlor or possibly All Saints School for First Eucharist Parent Meetings on Sundays, Feb. 26 and March 26 from 9:30 - 10:45.

First Eucharist Celebration ~

Church for First Eucharist Practice on Friday, April 28 from 4:00 - 6:00

First Eucharist Celebration at each of the weekend Liturgies April 29 & 30.  First Eucharist reception will follow the 11:00 Liturgy on April 30 in the Commons.

Confirmation

Youth confirmation.  High school age parishioners are generally confirmed in the spring of the year after two years of catechesis.  Parents of high school aged individuals seeking confirmation should contact John Tucker by calling 746-0466.

Adult confirmation.  If you are eighteen or older, have been baptized Catholic and received First Eucharist but have not yet been confirmed, please contact Sister Betty at the parish office, 329-0473, Ext. 140 or e-mail bpflieger@saintpaulscc.com.  Four week sessions are offered beginning mid-January.

 Weddings

Couples planning to marry should contact the Pastor and/or Deacon six months in advance.  Classes are required in advance of a marriage. To obtain more information, contact the Parish Office at 329-0473.

Sacrament of the Sick and Sick Calls

Hospital Visits — If someone you know has been admitted to the hospital, please contact the Parish Office at 329-0473. A chaplain is assigned part-time to the local hospital; but if parishioners inform the office, Father Jim, Sister Betty or a deacon will also visit. In the case of an emergency, please call (804) 329-0473 and follow instructions.
