Christian Formation 2021-2022
As with most of our ministries, in the wake of the pandemic, we are in the process of rebuilding. Registration has begun for the upcoming year and registration forms are available in the Commons or may be downloaded from our website at Religious Education Registration Form 2021-2022. Registration forms should be mailed to the church office at 909 Rennie Avenue, Richmond VA.
Classes for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade begin Sunday, October 3rd. Unfortunately, due to spacing requirements in the classrooms, we are unable to offer a Preschool Class this year. A calendar of session dates may be downloaded from our website Religious Education Calendar 2021-2022
Several of our catechists have moved or retired and we have a critical need for volunteers in the classroom. We have an urgent need for a catechist to teach our Kindergarten/1st Grade class and a catechist to teach our 6th-8th grade class. And in order to meet Safe Environment directives, we must have a second adult in each classroom.
Please consider volunteering. If we are unable to find catechists and aides, we will not be able to provide in-class instruction and will instead provide parents with the materials for at-home instruction.
